Peaceful, serene interiors are the hallmarks of Asian style homes, which are greatly influenced by the Chinese and the Japanese way of life. Wooden and bamboo furniture and accessories are excessively used in an Asian style home. Asian rugs, decorative panels with scenes from nature or Asian history, low lying Japanese style platform beds, bamboo roll ups for windows instead of curtains are some of the things used to give the house an Asian look. Colors widely used in an Asian house are white, ruby, black, gold and emerald.
